Jefferson pre-K kids in San FranciscoIn April Four Peas teamed up with Mom 4 Life and donated 54 backpacks to the Jefferson Pre-K Child Development Center in San Francisco. The center serves low income children ages 3-5 years old. It has been threatened with closure due to needs of improvements. Several companies have come along side to offer support to prevent this. Mom 4 Life and Four Peas were proud to be a part in making a difference for these children.

La Te Da Kids

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

I recently received an adorable skirt for my daughter Ava from LaTeDaKids.com, so I decided to check out their web site. At La Te Da you basically “design it yourself” and they offer many different fabric choices and a varitey of styles to choose from. The best thing is, you get to mix and match any of their fantastic fabrics and create a dress or skirt that is unique for your child. This is also a great place to pick up a unique gift. And, for those of you who feel a little less creative than others, they have a store with pre-made designs you can choose from.

So, check out www.latedakids.com for something adorable and a little less ordinary for your little one.

Bebe Sounds

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

I was flying back to Chicago from Las Vegas yesterday, and I had the pleasure of sitting next to the most enjoyable couple who turned out to be the creators of the Bebe Sounds Pre-Natal Heart Listener. Kathy, a nurse, and Larry, a technology genius, came up with this great idea because Kathy wanted her husband to be able to hear their baby’s movements and heart beat when she was pregnant. But, every time she would get out her stethesope , the baby was moving and it was difficult for Larry to hear the baby as he was not familiar with using medical instruments. Kathy wanted Larry to experience what she was able to each day being a nurse. So as most parent inventors do, they invented out of necessity, and came up with a simple and affordable way for a couple ( or another child) to “Listen to your unborn baby!”®

As Kathy and Larry pointed out, the first trimester is exciting because you are newly pregnant and just can’t wait to start showing. Trimester two is great because you feel good, you start to show, and you are really looking like a glowing pregnant woman now! The third trimester, well, by the end, not only are you showing, you are now waddling around and visiting the bathroom as much in the night as you ever did during the day. Kathy and Larry wanted something great they could do together, that focused on the baby and would bring them joy. The Bebe Sounds Pre-Natal Heart Listener is a great way for a couple to enjoy being pregnant, and a fantastic way to get your children involved and make them feel close to the baby before he/she is even born. Check out www.bebesounds.com to view the Bebe Sounds Pre-Natal Heart Listener and all of the other great products Unisar is now offering!
